Apple Settles $35M Lawsuit for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Audio Issues

Who Can Claim the Settlement?

You may be eligible to claim a portion of the settlement if you:

• Owned an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus between Sept. 16, 2016, and Jan. 3, 2023
• Reported audio issues to Apple

You don’t need to have paid out of pocket for repairs to be part of the settlement class.

Potential Payout Amounts

The amount you can receive depends on your situation:

• If you paid Apple for repairs related to audio issues: $50 to $349
• If you did not pay Apple for repairs: up to $125

Proof of payment is not required, but your claim will be verified against Apple’s repair records.

How to File a Claim

To file a claim, you have two options:

When Will Payments Be Issued?
